Chubb Insurance New Zealand Limited

In January 2016 ACE Limited acquired the Chubb Corporation creating a global insurance leader operating under the Chubb name. Chubb is the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company with operations in 54 countries and exceptional financial strength.

Rosser’s locally-based Property SurePac commercial property and liability facility is underwritten by Chubb Insurance New Zealand. Claims are handled directly by Chubb in New Zealand with Rosser available to assist whenever required.

AA- INSURER FINANCIAL STRENGTH RATING

The Insurance (Prudential Supervision) Act 2010 requires licensed insurers to have a current financial strength rating that is given by an approved rating agency. Chubb Insurance New Zealand Limited has an AA- insurer financial strength rating given by Standard and Poor’s (Australia) Pty Limited.

Certain Underwriters at Lloyd's of London

Having met the required standards, Rosser Underwriting is an approved Coverholder at Lloyds enabling us to access the world’s largest insurance market.

As a Lloyds Coverholder we are authorised to enter into contracts of insurance to be underwritten by Lloyds syndicates in accordance with the terms of a Binding Authority.

Coverholder status enables Rosser to offer a wider range of cover and limits, backed by Lloyds excellent brand, security and ratings.

Lloyd’s is a member of the Insurance Council of NZ and its New Zealand Coverholders adhere to the Fair Insurance Code, which provides you with assurance that we have high standards of service to our customers.

A+ Insurer Financial Strength Rating

The Insurance (Prudential Supervision) Act 2010 requires licensed insurers to have a current financial strength rating that is given by an approved rating agency.

In New Zealand, Zurich’s general insurance products are underwritten by Zurich Australian Insurance Limited (ZAIL), trading as Zurich New Zealand. ZAIL has an A+ insurer financial strength rating given by Standard and Poor’s (Australia) Pty Limited.
